Anthony James Crosby

Anthony J. Crosby, age 67 of Statesboro passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Hospice Savannah. He was born in Savannah on December 31, 1956 to Arthur J. and Betty C. Rentz Crosby. He had lived in Savannah for most of his life before moving to Statesboro 5 years ago. He was of the Baptist Faith, an ordained minister and was previously a music director. Anthony was a Civil War buff who loved history. In his spare time, he loved to fish, sing gospel music and spend time with his fur babies, He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Sara A. Crosby of Statesboro; several special children whom he claimed to be his own; sisters, Sharon (Douglas A.) Currie of Savannah and Kathy (Lester) Turner of Rincon; he is also survived by several nieces, nephews and his North Carolina family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
