Armando Esquivel

Armando “Mando” Esquivel Jr. age 60, passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.  He was born in Weslaco, Texas on September 13, 1965 to Armando Sr. and Juana Esquivel and had lived in Glennville most of his life.  

Mando had worked for G&R Farms and Adams Poultry for many years.  He was known as always being happy and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.  He also enjoyed fishing with his sons.

Mando was of the Catholic Faith and is preceded in death by his mother, and his brothers, Joel Esquivel, Sr. and Ricky Esquivel, Sr.

He is survived by his father and step mother, Armando and Olivia Esquivel of Glennville; his sons, Armando Esquivel III, Isaac Esquivel, Orlando Esquivel all of Texas, Fernando (Argentina) Esquivel and Rolando Esquivel (Brianna) all of Glennville; siblings, Jamie (Hilda) Esquivel, Sr. of Virginia, Dalia (David) Ross of Glennville and Leo (Lydia) Esquivel, Sr. of Texas; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 3, 2026 beginning at 2:00pm with the funeral services to follow at 3:00pm from the Chapel of the Glennville Funeral Home with Father Vicente Terrazas officiating.
