Austin J. Norris, age 22, of Collins passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She was born in Ashtabula, OH. on March 18, 2004, to Kenneth and Deborah Norris, and resided in Tattnall for most of her life. 

Austin was starting her professional career under the Three Bar-N, while colt starting, training, and boarding stables at their home in Collins. She was an avid horse rider and learned her horsemanship under the guidance of her mom. Austin was a proud member of several organizations- C.M.S.A. (Cowboy Mounted Shooting Assc.), N.B.H.A. (National Barrel Horse Assc.), Richey Arena (Local Series Assc.), Heavenly Acres Arena (Local Series), Statesboro Agg Center (Barrel Racing), and ART Todd Rodeo Productions (Barrel Racing). She worked at the local horse sale barns, S.S. Horse Sales in Hazelhurst, Hazelhurst Livestock horse sales, L&L horse sales, and Metter Livestock. 

She loved her friends and family; she never met a stranger and was loved by many far and wide. Austin's life was a beautiful testament of kindness, compassion, and hard work. Some of her favorite activities were playing tag on horseback, hanging out with friends, going to the beach, riding motorcycles, training horses with her mom and sister, Lyndee, hunting, and fishing. 

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jess (Mona) Norris; maternal grandparents, Oral (Beatrice) Champlin; and aunt, Betsy Champlin.

Austin is survived by her parents; siblings, Lyndee Norris of Collins, Westley (Veronica) Norris of Pennsylvania, Kenneth Norris of Idaho, Jodi (Michael) Monterio of Ohio, Dustin (Jordan) Bradbury of Florida, Jenny Bradbury of California, and Kaleigh Norris of Ohio; aunts and uncles, Duane Champlin, Nancy (Greg) Hamper, Pam Champlin, Hollly Champlin, Jack Penn, and Ralph (Geannie) Penn all of Ohio; as well as several nephews and nieces. 

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at their farm at her home, 604 N Main Street, Collins. Family invites those who knew Austin to come and honor her life together, she will be deeply missed but her legacy of love and grace will never be forgotten.
