Betty Ann Harden, age 64, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at East Georgia Regional Hospital in Statesboro. She was born on November 1, 1961, in Savannah had lived in Toombs County most of her life.

Betty was cherished not only as a devoted homemaker but also for the warmth and kindness she brought into every aspect of her life. She was widely known as the glue that held her family together; always there with a caring word, a supportive hand, and endless patience. Her loving nature was evident to all who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.

In her leisure time, Betty found great joy in gardening, especially tending to her beautiful roses that brightened her home and brought a smile to those around her. She was a talented baker, with a particular fondness for baking cakes that became a treasured treat at family gatherings. Crafting delicate pieces through crocheting was another of her passions, and she delighted in creating something special with her own hands. She also enjoyed relaxing evenings watching her favorite wrestling programs, filling her home with laughter and spirited conversation.

Above all, Betty Ann’s steadfast faith was the foundation of her life. As a Christian who loved Jesus, she embodied compassion and kindness, offering unconditional love and support to her family and friends. Her faith was a guiding light, influencing how she lived and loved deeply.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Johnnie Mae Padgett; her son, Christopher Lee Coursey; and her sister, Rosa Mae Conner.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Randy Harden of Lyons; her children, Carl (Jennifer) Coursey, Christina (Mark) Trull, Kevin Coursey, Kelly (Jason) McClendon, Randy Harden, Jr., Natalia Wentworth, Johnny Coursey and Jeannie Coursey all of Lyons; stepdaughters, Crystal Oliver of Ellabell and Johnnie Faye Rogers of Texas; brothers, Tommy Bryant of Collins and Tom (Beverly) Usher Jr. of Lyons; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, beginning at 10:00am with the funeral services to follow at 11:00am from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial.  Interment will follow in the Hardens Chapel Cemetery.
