Brenda Louise Walker

Brenda L. “Sissy” Walker, age 70, passed suddenly at her home in Lyons, GA on Monday, February 12, 2024.   She was born on December 19, 1953 in Wayne County and had lived in Jesup most of her life moving to Lyons in September 2023.  She had worked many years with Rick’s Meat Market in Jesup.  Brenda was small in stature, but had a heart bigger than life.  She loved her family and friends.  She always wanted to be sure they knew she would see them again, she never said “Bye” she always said “Later”I Love You”!

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Brown White and Mary Bell White.  Her life long love and husband, Jack Walker; her daughter and son in law, Rhonda and Steven Cope.

She is survived by her four legged son, Baby Jack; her daughter, Theresa (Shane) Walker of Jesup; grandchildren, Emily (Nick) Sharpe, Austin Walker (Alexis Garrido) and Wesley Walker all of Jesup, Steven Cope Jr (Alisha Westbrook) and Tyler Cope (Alanna Clark) all of Thomson, GA; great grands, Jayde and Riley Sharpe, Jack Leland Walker, Lilha and Steven Cope III, and Liam Clark; nieces and nephews, Tammy Jennings, Connie (Henry) Clifton, Doug Dent, Cathy Hubbard; great nieces and nephews, Cody (Kristin) Clifton, Andrew (Cheyenne) Summerlin, Heather (Justin) Powell; special niece and her main side-kick, Randi Summerlin; several great great nieces and nephews, Kristlyn and Keegan Powell, Jack and Jasper Clifton and Rainah and Greyson Summerlin.

Family will have services at a later date.
