Bruce Sweeney

Bruce Sweeney, age 49 passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald L. Sweeney. Bruce served his country in the U.S. Army and worked in the field of Environmental Remediation (EOD). He was a friend to everyone and made the world a better place. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Shaye Elizabeth Sweeney; son, Daniel Logan Sweeney; mother, Shirley Sweeney; brothers, Donald Sweeney, Paul Sweeney, Robert Sweeney.

A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Pittman Park United Methodist Church, 1102 Fair Road in Statesboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O. Box 531, Statesboro, GA. 30459.

Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Sweeney family.
