Calvin Coe

Calvin Jerome Coe, age 60 of Hinesville passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026 at Hospice Savannah, just two days before his 61st. birthday. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, veteran and friend. Calvin was born on August 19, 1965, in Ocala, Florida. Calvin was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Coe, mother, Luvenia Scott, and sister, Brenda Williams.

Calvin will forever be remembered for his love of family, his generous spirit, and the memories he created with the people he loved. He proudly served his country as a veteran, a part of his life that reflected his strength, dedication and commitment.  In his free time, he enjoyed some of life's simple pleasures. He loved fishing, spending time outdoors and was a devoted Miami Dolphins fan. Calvin had a way of finding joy in these things he loved.

Calvin leaves to cherish his memory are his three children, daughters, Tanashia Coe and Takaria Jackson both of Watertown, NY, and son, Lawrence Merritt of Adams, NY, nine grandchildren, two brothers, one sister and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Though Calvin's passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him, his memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

May he rest peacefully, forever remembered and deeply loved.
