Alma
Carl Smith, age 73 passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017. He was a native of Bacon County and had lived there most of his life. Carl was a retired truck driver who enjoyed tinkering with trucks and loved to fish in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister and 1 brother.
He is survived by his brothers, Gerald Sweat of Madison, Florida, Gilbert (Barbara) Sweat of Brunswick; sisters, Linda Sue (Jimmy) Carter of Baxley, Norma Jean (Wayne) Barber of Alma; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held 12:00pm, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Friendship Baptist Church in Alma.
Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Smith family.
