Carol Frances Warren Penny

Carol Frances Warren Penny passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Chesapeake, Virginia on November 30, 1937, she made her home in Stilson, Georgia for over 40 years, where she built a lifetime of cherished memories.

Carol was preceded in death by her mother, Ella Mae Warren; her father, Garrie "Buster" Warren; her brother, Willis Warren; her husband, Chester "Bill" Penny, Jr.; her son, Lincoln Penny; and her daughter, Cheryl Perkins.

She is lovingly survived by her children Lloyd "Fuzzy" (Martha) Penny, Debra King, Darrell (Lisa) Penny, and Lynn (Patty) Penny; her brothers Garrie (Joanne) Warren and Roger Warren; her sister Vickie (Roger) Smith; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at Rincon Church of God on June 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. A reading of her eulogy will be part of the service, honoring the lasting impact she made on all who knew her.

Carol’s warmth, kindness, and devotion to family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
