Carolyn Todd

Carolyn Todd, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at her home.  She was born in Lyons on December 30, 1943 to Talmadge and Eva Todd and had lived in Arizona for 11 years, Brooklet most of her adult life until recently moving back to Toombs County. 

Carolyn lived a life marked by hard work, care for others, and the simple joys that made a house feel like home. She graduated from Lyons High School and later retired as Manager of Pizza Hut after many years of service, a role that reflected her dedication and steady commitment.

Outside of work, Carolyn found happiness in planting her gardens and tending to her flowers. She also became especially well known for her cooking, with her carrot cakes standing out as a favorite memory for those who knew and loved her. The warmth she shared through her home, her kitchen, and her caring nature will be remembered with affection.

She was of the Baptist Faith and is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Todd; her brother, Talmadge Todd, Jr. and her granddaughter, Heather Leigh Todd.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Phillip and Jennifer Todd of Reidsville; siblings, Jesse (Frieda) Todd of Toombs Central, Earldean (Bruce) Sanders of Vidalia, and Rosie Ann Johnson, of Dothan, AL; granddaughter, Sabrina Marie Todd and a great grandson, Brayden Todd; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00pm on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 12:00pm on Monday, October 12, 2026 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the Rev. Jesse Todd officiating.  Interment will be in the Reidsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Forman, Aubrey Edwards, Phil Dees, Bill Edwards, Scott Dees and Joy Dees.
