Cassandra "Sandi" Lynn Crosby

Cassandra “Sandi” Lynn Crosby, age 56, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton.  She was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia on November 2, 1965.  She was a military daughter that lived all over the Country and even graduated high school in Germany.  She settled with her family in Glennville in 1992.  Sandi was a paralegal that had worked with several outstanding lawyers retiring from Dubberly & McGovern.  She loved to read and when she was younger she enjoyed traveling.  Sandi’s favorite pastime was being with her grandchildren and her nephew and niece.  She is a member of the Northeast Baptist Church in Clarkesville, TN and is preceded in death by her father, Byron Crosby, a sister, Monica Elaine Crosby and her grandparents, JW and Evelyn Benton and Willie Mae Lightsey.

She is survived by her loving daughter and son in law, Jena and Jonathan Mobley of Glennville; her mother, Brenda Crosby of Glennville; sister and brother in law, Julie and Gene Edwards of Glennville; grandchildren, Rylan and Adalyn Waters; nephew, Gabe Edwards, niece, Becky Edwards; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am on Monday, January 31, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 11:00am from the Chapel of the Glennville Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Howard officiating.  A private graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Appling Memorial Gardens in Baxley.
