Catherine Darley Bates, age 44 passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Pine Pointe Hospice Facility. She was a native of Macon and had lived there for most of her life. Catherine attended Friendship Baptist Church, loved cats, reading and Facebook. She never met a stranger, was loved by everyone and had a positive influence in the many lives of people that new her. She was a loving wife, mother and daughter that was greatly loved and she will dearly be missed by all.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ashley Bates; son, Adam Harrell; parents, Terry Darley and Connie Proctor; two sisters, Amy and Abigail; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Friendship Baptist Church in Dry Branch.

Low Country Cremation ans Burial is serving the Bates family.
