Obituary
Cecil H. Kersey,
age 70 of Lyons passed
away on
Saturday, November 5, 2011 at his
residence
in Lyons.
He was a native of Toombs
County and was a member
of Rocky Creek Baptist
Church.
He loved his family and
friends dearly and
enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in
death by his wife,
Martha Kersey; son, Richard Kersey;
brothers, Burnice
Kersey, Felton Kersey and a sister
Jerlen Holley.
Survived by two sons, Anthony Kersey of Lyons and Allan
Kersey of Reidsville; two brothers,
Mickey Kersey of Lyons
and Elton Kersey of Augusta; sisters, Mary Groover of Reidsville,
Lula
Scarboro of Kite, GA., Rose Scott of Fernandina Beach, FL.,
Audary Berton of Cedar Crossing;
Also survived by six grandchildren,
three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Visitation will be from 6:00pm-8:00pm Tuesday, November 8, 2011
at Bradley B. Anderson Funeral
Home, Reidsville Chapel.
Mr. Kersey will lie in state from 10:00am with Funeral Services to
follow at 11:00am
Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from Rocky Creek
Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Rocky
Creek
Baptist Church Cemetery
