Mr. Charles Alexander, age 71, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick under the care of Heartland Hospice. Born in Brunswick, Georgia, Charles was the son of the late Nathan T. Alexander and Ludessa Farrow. He was a graduate of Glynn Academy and spent more than ten years employed with Benson Food Services, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.

Charles enjoyed spending time outdoors and was an avid wrestling fan. His faith was an important part of his life, and he was a devoted member of Philadelphia Overcomers Church of Deliverance, where he faithfully served on the usher board. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Norma Alexander; his granddaughter, Carrigan Day; his paternal grandmother, Jenny Alexander; his maternal grandparents, Rev. Henry Smith and Hattie Cash; and his brothers, George Alexander and Henry Alexander.

He is survived by his children, Jessica Alexander of Brunswick, Georgia, Mario LeCounte (Jacinda) of Brunswick, Georgia, Yolonda Pugh of Brunswick, Georgia, Walter Whitfield (Candace) of Apollo Beach, Florida, and Jarvis LeCounte of Brunswick, Georgia; grandchildren, Charleigh Day, Janeia LeCounte, Shekinah LeCounte, Walter Whitfield, Antonio Whitfield, Joy Whitfield, Jeremiah LeCounte, Audyn LeCounte, and Aubrii LeCounte; siblings, Nathaniel Alexander (Betty), Phobec Abernathy, Elizabeth Brown of Jacksonville, Florida, Josephine Wilcox, Lula Mells, Johnny Alexander, all of Brunswick, Georgia, Barbara Johnson (Larry) of Midway, Georgia, and Karen Wrice (Pastor Johnny) of Brunswick, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Abyssinia Baptist Church in Brunswick, Georgia.

Services will conclude at the church.

Low Country Cremation & Burial has the honor of serving the Alexander family.
