Charles Douglas Broome

Eatonton

Mr. Charles Douglas Broome, age 71, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021.  Charles was a native of Savannah, Ga and lived many years in Eatonton, Ga.  He was a Navy Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, his hummingbirds and especially, spending time with his family.

He worked at Interstate Paper, Ga. Pacific and retired from B & S Piping, Inc.

He loved his country, the flag, and was very patriotic.  Charles was a friend to everyone, always willing to help anyone in need, and was loved by all who knew him.  He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia D. Broome.

He is survived by Bea Williams, sister, Linda Morgan (Milton), nephews, Doug Morgan (Caroline), Scott Morgan (Keri), great nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Olivia, Samuel, and Sydney Morgan and many cousins and extended family.
