Charles Kevin Lands

Charles Kevin Lands, age 54, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Evans Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 7, 1971 in Warner Robins to Charles Joseph and Janice Smith Lands and had lived in Evans County most of his life.  Kevin was a Claxton High School 1989 graduate.

Throughout his career, Kevin made significant contributions as an HVAC Mechanic, working for many years with Royal Refrigeration. His expertise in this field showcased his mechanical skills and commitment to delivering quality service. Additionally, Kevin was known for his time spent at Harry's Barbeque.

Those who knew Kevin can attest to his vibrant personality. He embraced life with enthusiasm, always ready for a good party and relished the moments spent fishing and hunting. His zest for life was contagious, bringing smiles and laughter to those around him.

Kevin was of the Baptist faith and is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Ciana Lands of Claxton; his siblings, Derek (Amy) Lands of Glennville, and Shawn (Michelle) Lands of Reidsville; grandchildren, Waiden Rhodes, Lily Rhodes and Ivy James; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Antioch Baptist Church. Following this, a funeral service will take place from 11:00 AM with Rev. Justin Gordon officiating.  Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricky Harper, Brian Hodges, Ashley Sikes, Andy Sikes, Jeremy Smith and Dustin Lively.
