Criscilla Ann James, age 85, passed away at Community Hospice on November 6, 2017.  Ms. James was born in San Diego, California to Charles and Alice (Vincent) Gear. A long time resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan she moved to Lyons, Georgia in 1992.  She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Judy Zydor; son, Russell Griffee; step-daughter, Martha Foley and step-son, Joe Griffee.

Ms. James is survived by her brothers, James Breen Lowell, MI and Govert Breen - MI; sisters, Ena Mae Symonds -MI and Margorie Potts - MI; daughters, Kathleen Robinson - Grand Rapids MI, Sandra Emmory - Cedar Rapids, MI, Karen Wright - Lyons, GA, and Brenda Deckert - Polk, PA; sons, Terry Robinson, Jack Robinson - Lyons, GA, Bill (Brenda) Griffee - Spring City, TN, and Michael (Pamela) Gilman - Stockbridge, GA; step-sons, Ronald (Jenny) Griffee and Paul Griffee. She was blessed with 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family gathering to celebrate the life of Ms. James in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Burial will be at Wood Lawn Cemetary, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
