Daniel Shannon Rowe, 63, of Reidsville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Columbus, Georgia, to Thomas and Diana (Hill) Rowe, Daniel moved with his family to Miami, Florida, at an early age before eventually settling in Tattnall County, where he spent his formative years. He attended the Tattnall County School System and graduated from Glennville High School. Trading the excitement of city life for the simplicity of country living suited Daniel perfectly, as he developed a lifelong love for hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. His passion for hunting also led him to raise and breed various hunting dogs, particularly Blue Heelers, for which he became well known.
A hardworking and independent man, Daniel enjoyed a rewarding career as the owner and operator of his own trucking company. His travels carried him throughout the Southeast, from the coastal lowlands to the mountain highways and countless places in between. The open road provided not only his livelihood but also the freedom and independence he valued.
A member of Little Rock Baptist Church, Daniel was a quiet, private man who preferred a simple life without recognition or fanfare. Despite his reserved nature, he possessed a generous heart and was always willing to help someone in need. Raised in a family where love, kindness, and compassion were deeply rooted, Daniel carried those same values throughout his life, leaving an enduring example for those who follow in his footsteps. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Belinda Rowe.
Left to cherish a lifetime of memories are his loving wife, Ty Rowe of Reidsville; his daughter, Kandace Hope of North Carolina; his parents, Thomas and Diana Rowe of Glennville; his brother, Greg (Debbie) Rowe of Screven; his grandchildren, Jayden, JD, Kelley, Ruby, Cambri, Ealon and Kenley; bonus children, Thomas (Lauren) Rodman, Shelley Rodman, Michelle (Jon) Davis, and David Rogers; Numerous other relatives and friends made along life's journey also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Low Country Cremation & Burial, with the Reverends Bryan Anderson and David Lamm officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Rowe, Shane Rowe, David Rogers, Devin Love, Dwayne Love, and Thomas Rodman.
Low Country Cremation & Burial is honored to serve the Rowe family during their time of bereavement.
