Daryl Wayne Gunter

GLENNVILLE

SFC Wayne Gunter, age 67 of Glennville passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 after a long illness. Wayne was a 23 year retired Army Veteran serving 2 tours in Vietnam and  then retiring as an over-the-road truck driver and heavy equipment operator. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Wayne loved to hunt, fish and ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Survived by his wife, Barbara Gunter of Glennville; two daughters and son-in-law, April D. and Tray Riner, and Rachel L. Gunter and Robert Harrold all of Glennville; aunts, Mary L. Martin, Berniece Mattison, Bobby Butler, Beatrice, Grady and Velma Gunter; grandchildren, Chasity, Tyler and Dustin Riner, Raven and Terra Gunter; cousins, Waymond and Eunice Gunter; brother-in-laws, John Zvonar and Qing Su Wang, and David and Donna Zvonar.

Visitation will be 9:00am to 12:00p, Friday, July 26, 2013 at Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home Glennville Chapel.

Graveside Services will be conducted 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2013 at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville with the Reverend Charles Barnard officiating with full military honors.
