Dewayne Nutting, age 40, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 in Chatham County. He was reared in Gainesville and Cleveland. Dewayne was a loving son and had a heart of gold.
Dewayne is preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward Howard Nutting, Sr, William and Annie Mae Owens, James and Ruby Gordon; uncles, Ronald and Donald Gordon; and a cousin, Donald Christopher Gordon, Jr. and his great grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Nutting; parents, Connie and Mike Elam and Edward Nutting, Jr.; daughter, Destiny Nutting; sisters and brothers in law, Rebecca and Michael Tittle, Melinda and Jake Swafford and Brenda Byrum; nieces, Amy Woodward and Nova Tittle; nephew, Jaxston Tittle; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from the hours of 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Low Country Cremation and Burial in Reidsville.
