Diane W. Rawls, age 66, was called home on Friday, June 28, 2025. Born on February 21, 1959, she was a lifelong resident of Tattnall County and a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many. There to meet her in eternity was her youngest son, Wardell A. Rawls III.

Diane dedicated much of her life to serving others through her extensive and rewarding career with the Tattnall County School District. After retiring, she embraced a peaceful life in Collins, where she enjoyed spending time with family and close friends. Known for her Southern charm, genuine kindness, and warm spirit, Diane brought joy and comfort to all who knew her.

She leaves behind two loving sons, Love Rain and Nickalus Rawls; her cherished grandchildren, Geraine Anthony Jr. and Jaydee Rawls; along with a host of extended family and dear friends who will carry on her memory and legacy.

In keeping with her wishes, Diane will be cremated, and her remains will be kept with her son, Nickalus.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at New Bethaven Primitive Baptist Church, 6090 GA-292, Collins, GA 30421.
