Obituary

Mrs. Eddie Eason age 79 passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Jeff Davis Hospital in Hazlehurst. The Lumber City native had lived in Claxton most of her life. She was a homemaker that loved to sew and cook, and was of the Church of God faith. Mrs. Eason was preceded in death by her husband Coy Eason and her son William Lewis Carter.

She is survived by her two daughters and a son-in-law, Polly and Bill Tayloe of Newport News, Virginia and Edna Owens of Millen, Georgia; Five Grandchildren, Four Great- grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews also survive

Viaitation and Funeral Services

Visitation will begin 12:00pm Friday February 10, 2012 from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home.

Graveside funeral services will follow at 2:00pm on Friday from Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Andy Allen officiating.
