Emmitt E. Tharpe, age 71 passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Meadows Regional Medical Center. He was self employed and and a life long resident of Montgomery County. He is predeceased by his parents, Elza and Della Mae Wilkes Tharpe and his wife of 47 years, Carolyn Gillis Tharpe.
He is survived by his daughter Tabatha (Woodrow) Fowler, Cedar Crossing, a son, Michael (Wendy) Tharpe, Vidalia, 4 grandchildren, Caroline Fowler, Joanie Fowler, Trenton (Jodi) Tharpe and Tristan Tharpe.
Services will be held at a later date.
Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Tharpe family.
