Mrs. Faye Johnson Screen, age 87, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Community Hospice Inpatient Center in Vidalia. The Tattnall County native had lived in Collins most of her life. She was a homemaker and of the Holiness Faith. Mrs. Faye is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Jimmie R. “J.R.” Screen; parents, George and Lessie Lynn Johnson; son, Gene R. Screen; grandchildren, Angel Lavonna Screen, Salina Screen, Shane Screen and Charles Jeffery Screen.

She is survived by her children, Brenda (Randall) Barnes of Vidalia and Jerry Screen of Lyons; brother, Elvin Johnson of Collins; grandchildren, Shannon (Angie) Youmans, Brandy (Jason) Rabon, Jeremy (Christy) Screen, Randall (Sherri) Screen, Joshua (Mattie) Screen, and Luke (Shari) Screen; sixteen great grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the funeral services to follow at 11:00am with the Reverends Andrew Nelms and Michael Plowman officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Rabon, Jace Rabon, Luke Screen, Ethan Screen, Joshua Screen and Hunter Screen.
