Gary L. Milton III, affectionately known to family and friends as “Trey,” passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness.

Born on January 25, 1990, Trey’s life was defined by his deep love for family, his generous heart, and his zest for life. He had a special fondness for the great outdoors, finding peace and joy in the Smoky Mountains. A devoted Georgia football fan, Trey never missed a chance to cheer on his Bulldogs. His beloved cat, Stormy, was a constant companion, bringing him comfort and companionship. Known as a practical joker, Trey had a way of making people laugh, and his hard work ethic earned the respect of all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed by his parents, Gary and Kathy Milton of Macon and Lisa Milton of Madison; his sisters, Megan (Ben) Cummings of Fort Valley, Jessica (AJ) Savino of Kennesaw, and Emily (Ashton) Brooks of Acworth; and a host of extended family and friends who will forever treasure his memory.

A memorial service to honor Trey’s life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 12:00 noon at Bethany Baptist Church, 365 Pea Ridge Rd, Juliette, GA 31046. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
