Mrs. Geraldine Smith Oliver
age 74 passed away
Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Community Hospice
Inpatient Center surrounded by her family. The Tattnall
County native had lived in Collins most of her life. She
was retired from Tattnall County School Board where
she was a bus driver and loved to fish. Mrs. Oliver was
preceded in death by her parents, Watson and Gladys
James Smith; brother, Hollis Smith and a sister,
Imogene Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 46yrs, Barney Oliver,
Sr. of Collins. Son and daughter in law, Barney and
Heather Oliver of Collins. Daughter and son in law,
Kim and Danny Jones of Reidsville. Sisters and brother
in law, Sybil and Edd Futch of Glennville, Doyce Phillips
of Ludowici, Quida Edwards of Bixby, OK. Four grand-
children, Brandon and Bailey Oliver, Austin and Blayne
Jones. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from the Reidsville
Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be private.
Memorials may be given to Community Hospice, 904 Mt. Vernon Road, Vidalia, GA 30474
Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Reidsville Chapel
is serving the Oliver family.
