Gordon Miller Gambill

Gordon Miller Gambill, 68, passed peacefully April 18, 2019 at Hospice of Savannah, GA.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Gordon was a native of Greensboro and a retired electrician who loved “tinkering” and building things. He was a lifelong reader and loved all kinds of books, especially books about history, westerns and automobiles. He also loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Gordon was preceded in death by his father, William Gordon Gambill; mother Dorothy Coleen Crowder and former wife Lisa Gallagher of Charlotte. He is survived by his loving family, Lee Ann Leary, Joseph Leary, daughter Kathryn Leigh Bray(Phillip) and grandsons Logan and Jaxon. He is also survived by his brother Wayne Gambill(Linda) of Norfolk, VA, Pam McGee(Karl) of Live Oak, FL, Patricia Richey(Steve) of Greensboro, NC and brother Johnny Gambill of Escondido, CA.

Gordon will be remembered for his for his sense of humor, genuine nature and kind heart.
