Harlie Lee Medlin

Harlie Lee Medlin, age 72, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Community Hospice.  He was born September 13, 1950, in Tallapoosa, GA to Harlie Amos and Carla Medlin.  He had lived in Reidsville for the past 20 years.  Harlie retired as the Safety Instructor after 24 years of service with the Southern Company.  He loved riding his Harley Davison motorcycle, supporting the Alabama Football team and drinking his diet cokes.  He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ricky Medlin, Darryl Medlin, and Vickie Reese.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Shanda Medlin of Reidsville; children, Tina Medlin of Jacksonville, FL, Amy (Wesley) Thompson of Tallapoosa, Tisha Medlin (Jesse Juarez) of Reidsville and Jonathan Medlin of Reidsville; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Harlie’s wishes there will be no formal services.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Community Hospice.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Medlin family.
