Helen White

Helen White, age 66, of Metter, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. She was born in Dublin, on October 31,1959, to Hardy and Minnie Allen White. Helen’s life was marked by her deep love for her family and friends, as well as her affection for animals, and she enjoyed her career as an assistant manager. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Hardie, Jr. (Effie Mae) White, Albert (Kathy) White, Truman (Mary Joyce) White, Bob White, David White, Jerry White, Johnnie Mearle McCrimmon, and Christine (Tom) Foskey.

She is survived by her life partner Howard Smith; brothers, Arthur (Kathy) White, Roy Gene (Barbara) White, Rayford (Sharol) White; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18, at 1:00PM, at Blockers Chapel, 2119 Thompson Pond Rd., Vidalia, with Albert White officiating.
