Hezekire Ratliff

Hezekire Ratliff, age 54 peacefully passed away on Saturday May 24, 2025 surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.  He was born in Savannah on November 14, 1970 to Thomas Braden and Marguerite Murken Ratliff and lived in Chatham County for many years before moving to Glennville four years ago.  Hezekire dedicated his career to the janitorial business, where he made a significant impact through his work at Absolute Clean. His commitment to maintaining cleanliness and creating welcoming environments for others was a testament to his strong work ethic and dedication to service.

Those who knew Hezekire will remember him fondly for his gentle spirit and reflective nature. He cherished the quiet moments in life, often found sitting on the porch and enjoying a cup of coffee. These simple pleasures brought him great joy and represented a time for contemplation and connection with the world around him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Benny Lee Harvey Ratliff.

He is survived by his sister and brother in law, Margaret "Maggie" and Kenny Banks of Glennville; several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from the hours of 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Glennville Funeral Home.
