Mr. Ira A. Cohen, age 88 passed away Monday, April 24, 2017. The New York native had lived in Charleston, South Carolina for eighteen years before moving to Savannah in 2000. He was an entrepreneur. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Cohen.
He is survived by his son, Jon Cohen of Savannah; daughter, Marci Goldstein; six grandchildren also survive.
Services will be announced later.
Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Cohen family.
