Jack Dempsey Davis, Jr., of Crawfordville, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.
Jack graduated from Reidsville High School and went on to attend the Banking School of the South at LSU, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in banking. He proudly served in the United States Army. Jack began his career in banking with American Express in Germany, where he learned to speak fluent German.

He cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories through activities such as wrestling and rodeo. He never met a stranger anywhere he went.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Gena; his children, Jack (Huan), Evelyn, Brandon (Morgan), Josh (Tiffany), and Christopher (Victoria); his sisters, Claudette Collins and Becky Beylotte; his brother-in-law, Will Burgess; as well as 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Family Funeral Home in Crawfordville, Florida. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, 982 Providence Church Rd, Lyons, GA.
