Daniel Beshires

James Daniel Beshires, known to many as Daniel, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026. He was born on February 17, 1966, in Reidsville, Georgia, and remained a lifelong resident of the community he called home.

Daniel was a 1986 graduate of Reidsville High School. He was employed at Hill Shopping Center, where his work ethic left a lasting impression. Mr. Jack Hill remarked that he wished everyone worked like Daniel, a reflection of the dedication and care Daniel brought to his job. He also enjoyed going to “work” at the Tattnall Evans Service Center, something that was clearly a meaningful part of his daily life.

He found joy in simple and memorable ways. Daniel loved numbers and counting money, and he took special pleasure in cleaning the yard, even counting the pinecones as he worked. He attended Reidsville Church of God, where he also enjoyed counting the people in attendance at church. These familiar routines and interests were part of what made him so dearly recognizable to those who knew and loved him.

Daniel is survived by his loving mother, Jo Ann Beshires of Reidsville; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

 He was preceded in death by his father, James Beshires, and by his baby sister, Joanna Joy Beshires.

Family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am on Thursday, October 15, 2026 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial. Interment will be in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
