James Richard Leckemby, Jr. age 58 passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at his residence under the care of Heartland Hospice. James was a retired US Army veteran, a dedicated loving husband, father and "Papa". He was a huge music advocate and a Christian who loved trains and birds. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Leckemby.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Leckemby; children, Deborah (Erick) Edwards, Renee Otlang, Jaymie Leckemby, James R. Leckemby, III, Cynthia Leckemby; father, James (Jean) Leckemby; mother, Martha Richards; brothers, Rodney (Shawn) Leckemby, Daniel (Tiffany) Leckemby, Jeffery (Karen) Leckemby, John (Gwen) Leckemby; grandchildren, Allison, Tony, Vicky, Mindy, Henry, Hazel Leckemby, Timothy, Shelby, Tori, Sierra, Layla Otlang; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Services will be held at a later date.
Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Leckemby family.
