Jean Ellen Brown Binion, age 70, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Oxley Park Rehabilitation Center in Lyons. She was born in Glennville on April 9, 1955, to GW and Robbie Jean “Dot” Purvis Brown. Jean had lived in Clarksville, TN for many years moving back to Glennville in 2021.
While in Clarksville, Jean was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and enjoyed spending time with ladies of the Church. She is a member of the First United Christian Church of Glennville and is preceded in death by her parents; her son, George Norman Weakley and a sister, Dawn Ammons.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Jessica and Gage Quintero of Glennville; her brothers and sister-in-law, Wayne and Hazel Brown of Glennville and David Brown of Reidsville; grandchildren, Julianna Love Radford, Brody Austin Radford, and Noah Grant Pye; nephews, TJ (Amber) Ammons, Jonathan Ammons, and Dayne Brown; 2 great nephews
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 12, 2025, beginning at 1:00pm with the funeral services to follow at 2:00pm from the Chapel of the Glennville Funeral Home with the Reverend Stuart Bland officiating. Interment will be in Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dayne Brown, Jay Folsom, Bobby Folsom, Joe Folsom, Brody Radford and Jonathan Ammons.
