John Timothy Scott, age 68 passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 at his residence under the care of Hospice of South Georgia. He was a native of Augusta, lived most of his life in Jesup and attended Parkway Baptist Church. John was known as a hardworking man who enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Todd Scott of Sandersville, GA; daughters, Karen S. (James) Granthem of Jesup and Amy Nicole (Randy) Banks of Camilla, GA; brothers, Jim (June) Scott of Jesup, Sam (Dana) Scott of Louisiana; sisters, Elizabeth (Ron) Strasberg of Arizona, Colleen Price of Florida, Theresa Smith of Macon; 4 grandchildren and numerous other relatives also survive.
No Services will be held.
Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Scott family.
