Johnny Sikes

Johnny B. Sikes, age 72, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at the Tattnall Healthcare in Reidsville.  The Metter native had lived in Cobbtown all of his life.  He was a farmer and a welder.  Johnny loved to fish, hunt, and catch alligators in the Altamaha River.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Elliot and Bernice Kicklighter; and a daughter, Debra Sikes.

Johnny is survived by his sister and caretaker, Jennifer Kicklighter Woodcock and her husband, Michael “Bo”, of Collins; son, Johnny Ray Sikes of Waynesboro, TN; grandsons, Robert Sikes and Kyle Sikes, both of Waynesboro, TN; nephew, William Burroughs of San Antonio, TX; and nieces, Allison Gay and Kaitlyn Woodcock, both of Collins.

There will be a private service at the Sunlight Cemetery in Cobbtown.
