Joseph Francis Durrence

Joseph Francis Durrence, age 72, passed away Sunday at PruittHealth-Bethany in Millen.  He was born in Tison on June 18, 1946 to Henry Frances and Eleanor Wilds Durrence.  He was reared in Florida and moved back to Tattnall County in the late 70’s.  He was a truck driver for US Mail and loved to watch the Miami Dolphins.  He also loved to go fishing and was of the Baptist Faith.  Joe is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Lavonia Phillips, Ann Ryals, and Billy Durrence.

He is survived by his siblings, Jerry Durrence of Reidsville, Shirley Rucker, and Donna Hendrik; several nieces and nephews.
