Julian Cannon, Sr. age 84, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Camilia Healthcare in Claxton. He was an Evans County native that lived in Claxton for many years before moving to Collins in 1984. Julian was a self-employed mechanic that enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching NASCAR on the television. He was of the Church of God faith and is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Jacob and Velma Irene Oliver Cannon; his wife, Pat Foy Cannon; his son, Kenneth Cannon, Jr. and a brother, Walter Lenwood Cannon.
He is survived by his stepdaughter, Patty Thomas of Collins; his grandchildren, Austin Beasley of Claxton, Madison Beasley of Statesboro, Kenny Cannon of Cobbtown, Canda Cannon of Claxton; siblings, Harry Cannon of Claxton and Joyce Steele of Metter; several great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the Little Flock Church Cemetery.
Low Country Cremation and Burial has the honor to serve the Cannon family.
