Karen (Iddins) Calhoun

Linda “Karen” Calhoun, age 66 passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at her residence. The Tattnall County native had lived in Reidsville all of her life. She was a nurse serving many years at Tattnall Healthcare and retiring from Georgia State Prison as a Chronic Care Nurse. Karen was of the Baptist faith and loved to fish and sew. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ruby Nell Conner Iddins; brother, Cecil Henry Iddins, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Patricia (Robert) Beason of Collins, Richard Wade Calhoun of Reidsville; siblings, Terry Iddins of Reidsville, Cindy (Dennis) Brown of Belhaven, NC, LaRuth (Billy) Sutton of Metter; grandchildren, Kayla (Larry) Wilkerson of Twin City, Deven (Shelley Lynn) Bradham of Collins, Kaitlyn Beason of Metter; great-grandchildren, Reaghlyn Calhoun, Ayden Wilkerson, Braxton Bradham, Macksen Wilkerson. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will begin 6:00pm, Friday, March 24, 2017 at the funeral home. Memorial services will be conducted 2:00pm, Saturday, March 25, 2017 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial. Burial will be private.
