Kathryn (Brown) Moore

Obituary
Kathryn B. Moore, 88 , died Sunday, September 4, 2011 at
Ogeechee Hospice House in Statesboro after a long illness.
She was a native of Cordele,Georgia and lived most of her life
in Chatham County. She was preceded in death by her husband
Jesse W. Moore, Sr.; a son: Jesse W. Moore, Jr.; a daughter: Mary
Kathryn Jonakin. She retired from the Continental Can Paper
Company in Port Wentworth, GA. Kathryn was a Pink Lady at
Candler Hospital in Savannah for many years and was a member
of Eastside Baptist Church in Claxton, GA.
She is survived by a grandson: Gaines (Lori) Jonakin of Austin,
Texas; a granddaughter: Mary (Johnny) Pickens of Austin Texas;
a son-in-law, Lynn Jonakin; three great-grandchildren; a sister Mary
Jones of Savannah; a sister Shirley Brown of South Lake, TX; a cousin,
Marie Walker of Claxton; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at Eastside Baptist Church in Claxton.
Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. at Eastside Baptist Church in Claxton with Rev. Edward Oglesby officiating, burial will follow 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011 in Greenwich Cemetery in Savannah with Rev. Buddy Herrring officiating.
Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home Glennville Chapel is serving the Moore Family.
