Linda K. Smith

Linda Kay Smith was born in Meigs County, Tennessee to Hank and Mary Kate Walker on April 8th, 1947. She joined her parents, all her siblings; Brenda, Wanda, Alvin, Charles, Buddy and Wilma, as well as her youngest daughter, Christy Lynn (1979-2021) in heaven on October 26, 2025 at the age of 78. She was under the excellent care of Coastal Hospice at Altamaha Healthcare Center where she peacefully passed. She is survived by her oldest daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Doyle Taylor, along with grandchildren; Taylor, Brooke, Breanna, Karter, Kyle, Blair, Ethan, Aiden and Emma, 3 great-grandchildren; Clayton, Ellie and Leona, along with many dear nieces and nephews.

Linda was a happy, loving, kind soul who loved making people laugh and feel seen and loved.

There are plans to honor her life at the release of her ashes in her beloved state of Tennessee.

Low Country Cremation and Burial has the honor to serve the Smith family.
