Lisa Todd Griner

Lisa Todd Griner, age 55, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Wellstar Medical Health System in Augusta.  The lifelong Tattnall County resident was born on November 23, 1970, to Jimmy and Joyce Ray Todd. 

Lisa graduated from Glennville High School in 1989 and went on to receive an associate's degree from Brewton Parker College. She devoted much of her working life to caring for others, serving as a caregiver for 30 years. She also worked as a bus driver for 10 years, and her last employment was with Allgreen Environmental Services. Through each role, she gave of herself faithfully and touched many lives along the way.

She was a woman with the biggest heart and could start a conversation with anyone. Her warm and open nature made people feel welcome, and her presence brought comfort and familiarity wherever she went. She found joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures of life, especially gardening, canning, and cooking. She also loved attending farmer markets and flea markets, where she could enjoy the community and the treasures found there.

Lisa is preceded in death by her parents; and her grandmother who raised her, Allene Ray.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Griner of Glennville; her children, Margo Joyce Clark of Glennville and Brittany Leigh (Tim) Hunter of Claxton; her stepdaughter, Ashley Griner Ash of Atlanta; her siblings, Carlton Todd of Rock Hill, SC, Edwin Todd and Lynne Troha both of Reidsville; grandchildren, Brantley Clark, Isabella Clark, Sadie Ash, and Caleb Ash, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am on Saturday, September 26, 2026, with the funeral services to follow at 11:00am from the Chapel of the Glennville Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerome Davis officiating.  Interment will be held 1:00pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
