Lois Louise Roberson

Lois Louise Roberson, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the age of 72, at Hospice Savannah. Louise was preceded in death by the love of her life, Richard J. Huggins; her parents, Betty D. Thompson and John Thompson; and her brothers, Jackie Hamm and John Hamm. 

She is survived by her children, Jackie Huggins Owens and Jeff Owens; grandchildren, Victoria Owens Sauls and Jon Marshall Sauls, Jr.; great-grandson, Knox Sauls; sisters Deborah Allen (Kenny) and Connie Schueler (Sheldon); and many nieces and nephews. 

Louise’s family ensured her legacy will live on by honoring her final wish of whole-body donation, and through that generous decision, Louise will make medical innovations possible and help to educate and train the medical professionals we all count on. May her memory be a blessing, and may her selfless contribution continue to make a difference.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the medical staff at Hospice Savannah for their compassionate care throughout her final days.
