Margaret "Peggy" Ann (Burgess) Gannon

Margaret "Peggy" Ann Gannon, age 83 passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on  October 17, 1934. A 1950’s American Airlines Flight Attendant, she gave up traveling to raise a family. Peggy enjoyed dancing, Bridge and cooking. She had a great smile and sense of humor. Her greatest joy was being around her children, whom she raised in Westport, CT. A long-time resident of Hilton Head Island, SC she moved to Bluffton in 2000.

She was the mother of Brian, Douglas, Matthew, Michael, and Tracy who lives in Bluffton, SC.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, November 2 from 4-7pm at Spanish Wells Club, 1 Brams Point Rd., Hilton Head Island.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SOAR Special Recreation/Special Olympics of Hilton Head.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Gannon family.
