Margaret Jane Kicklighter

Margaret J. Kicklighter, age 67 of Townsend passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick. She was born on June 12, 1958 in Long Branch, New Jersey to Harry and Margaret Condon Bailey. She was raised in Florida before moving to McIntosh County 20 years ago. Margaret was a loving mother and grandmother who loved plants and spending time with her family and her fur baby Lil bit. She is preceded in death by her husband, Terry "Hank" Kicklighter; siblings, Nora Andrews, Rick Bailey and Billy Bailey; her loving grandmother and her parents. 

She is survived by her son, Mitchell Meeks of Darien; grandson, Taylor Meeks and his fiancé, Brooklyn Lovvorn of Darien; brothers, Patrick Bailey of Brunswick and Rufus Bailey of Florida; lifelong friend, Gene Essex of Darien; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with Brother Cade Bazemore officiating.
