Margaret (Burke) McLendon

Mrs. Margaret Burke McLendon, age 76, passed away on Wednesday June 28, 2023, at her sister's home in Lyons and under the care of Community Hospice.  She was born in Uvalda living in Lyons most of her life.  She was retired from Georgia High Tech after 30+ years of service.  She enjoyed crafting and is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Burke.

She is survived by her sons, Chad Adams and Vic Adams both of Lyons; siblings, Henrietta Tabor and Frank Burke both of Lyons; grandchildren, Hunter (Samantha) Adams, and Allie (Benji) Kilgore; great grandchildren, Hadley, Laine, Parker Adams and Ridge Kilgore; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Depot in Lyons.
