Margaret Lucille (Hickman) Moulton

Margaret L. Moulton, age 91, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at her residence. The Illinois native had lived in Macomb most of her life moving to Georgia six years ago. She had worked at Western Illinois University for several years and Harold Kelly’s Restaurant for many years. In her free time she enjoyed embroidering and doing puzzles. For the last years of her life she enjoyed tending to her chickens and rocking on the front porch. She also enjoyed going into the woods with her daughter, Dorothy and her son in law, Sonny to retrieve wood for the winter. Mrs. Margaret’s greatest joy was being a mother to five daughters and four sons. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moulton; children, Bobby, David, Jackie, and Betty Moulton.

She is survived by her children, Nellie Wall, Dorothy Andersen, Sharon Krohn, Billy Moulton, and Nancy Meers; brother, Harlin Hickman; sister, Lula Spencer; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Friday, August 18, 2017 at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb, Illinois.
