Martha Ann Rowe

Martha Ann Rowe, age 83, of Reidsville, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, under care of Community Hospice. A native of Tattnall County, Martha was born on December 26, 1942, to the late H.C. Wilson and Louise Evans. Martha enjoyed countless years working at Tattnall County High School as a parapro, as well as over 20 years as a seamstress. She was known to be a very hard worker, and her personality could be described as "someone who is always willing to give a helping hand but never ask for it." Martha Ann was wildly independent, but just as kind with a well-known love for her style and collection of outfits. She spent her time as a member of the Red Hat Ladies and created lasting friendships and bonds that she cherished throughout her life. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Layton Rowe; and brother Billy Wilson. 

Martha Ann is survived by her daughters, Donna (Russ) Oliveri, Becky Johnson, Stephanie (John) Lancaster; grandchildren, Anna Grossmann, Aaron Kurtz, Christopher Kurtz; great grandchild, Willow Grossman; sister, Peggy (Johnny) Daniel; and one niece and nephew.
