David Price, age 34, passed away on December 30, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center-Jacksonville surrounded by his loving family and friends. From the moment of his birth on February 6, 1989, David faced the hurdles of Cerebral Palsy, a condition that he embraced with courage and determination throughout his life. He was immensely blessed to have Christian parents, Gene and Linda Price that supported his physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. David's entire life was a testament to the strength of the human spirit in the face of challenges. He grew up in and was a lifelong resident of Savannah. David attended local schools and proudly graduated from Windsor Forest High School in 2011, demonstrating commitment to obtaining his education.
Known for his loving personality, David earned the endearing nickname "The Kissing Bandit" for his penchant for stealing a kiss from many of those he encountered in his day-to-day life. His warm heart and infectious spirit left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. David's passions were as diverse as they were vibrant. He found joy in riding 4-wheelers, casting lines into the waters while fishing, and immersing himself in the world of gaming. An avid gamer, David displayed mastery on the iPad and was most often found playing his preferred game console, the Nintendo Wii. Above all else, faith was a cornerstone of his life. David was a dedicated member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Savannah. He cherished the power of prayer. He was constantly seeking prayers from, and offering prayers for fellow believers. His unwavering trust in God provided him strength and comfort throughout his journey.
David touched the hearts of all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and joy. Each person he touched will remember the warmth of his embrace, the courage in his spirit, and the joy he brought to every corner of his world. Now he celebrates in Heaven, free from the confines of earthly challenges, and his memory will continue to inspire us to embrace life with the same love and determination that defined his remarkable journey.
